Job Description:
Position Summary:

Manage, maintain, install, configure and upgrade computer hardware/software. Setup and manage
file sharing and security for all user accounts. Perform all levels of workstation maintenance
and repair; working with Windows 98, NT 2000 and XP operating systems. Monitor Support Help
Line resolving user issues via telephone, remote access software and onsite support. Assist
users with issues including: hardware and software usage, internet connectivity, network
connectivity, e-mail, and printing, etc. Order, manage, install and configure all computer
hardware including new computers, peripherals, LAN devices (such as: switches, routers, print
servers, etc.)and software. Maintain vendor relations. Manage and maintain up-to-date records
related to IT-related product inventory, as well as software licenses. Establish agency
standard with new computer specifications. Make recommendations and test new hardware and
software products. Install and support specialized finance, human resources, accounts payable,
and clinical software applications. Enforce Information Systems policies and procedures. Manage
remote site computer backup and disaster recovery. Travel to remote sites (all within
Massachusetts area) required. Reliable car and valid driverís license.

Requirements: 
Must have experience with Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP and basic of networking in a Microsoft
Windows Server environment. Hardware and software troubleshooting and installation skills are
required as well as is excellent customer service and communication skills. Candidates with at
least 4 years of Desktop experience and a proven track record supporting a corporate IT
environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
