We currently have a challenging oppportunity at our Corporate Headquarters in Arlington
Heights, IL for a Senior Market Research Analyst. Working under the direction of the Section
Manager, Market Research and Analysis, this position will oversee, support, and conduct all
market research activities for Pace, including Customer, Non-customer, Customer Satisfaction,
segmentation, route, employee, and benchmark surveys/studies; actively participate in all
service restructuring initiatives and be responsible for the quality of market research
information provided; manage all aspects of research initiatives, including but not limited to
research proposals, sample and questionnaire/interview protocol design, tab planning, content
analysis, data analysis, and presentation of findings; design and manage primary and secondary
research programs, including both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to support
strategic planning and marketing; gather, summarize and make strategic recommendations based
on statistics and key findings from customer research and industry analysis; work with other
departments and cross-functional groups to identify business needs and to design appropriate
studies to fit those needs as well as to ensure knowledge sharing and integration across
studies and methods; provide quality marketing research information to be used in strategic
business decisions. Other assigned duties as needed. 

Bachelorís degree in Marketing Research, Social Sciences, Economics/Statistics, or Business
Administration is required, Master's degree preferred. Must have several years of demonstrated
experience in marketing research in a business environment. Must be a creative and strategic
thinker, self-motivated, resourceful, and independent, yet be able to operate in a team
environment. Must be fluent in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including
advanced multivariate statistics. Must be experienced in planning and managing multiple
quantitative and qualitative projects including design, analysis, and presentation. Effective
oral and written communication skills are essential. Proficiency with SPSS and Microsoft
Office is mandatory. Familiarity with ArcView is ideal but not mandatory.
