Our client located in Parsippany, NJ is looking for a Sr. SAP Business Analyst. This a Right

Job Description
The Senior Business Analyst serves as the point of contact for the business organization in
order to support a production SAP application. This role is accountable for providing hands-on
day-to-day SAP support to the business as needed, including resolving trouble tickets and
completing small enhancements on time and with high quality. Acts as a technical advisor to
the customer, guiding and supporting them with a continuous focus on providing superior
customer service. Develops best business practice knowledge, and supports the business in
integrating this into the SAP solution. 

Essential Functions: 
. Deliver production support tasks to meet or beat Service Level Agreements, including trouble
tickets and system enhancements. Configure SAP R3 modules to support and enhance the current
production environment. Liaise with users to troubleshoot and resolve system problems.
Prioritize production support issues and develop detailed work task lists. Ensure that all the
business requirements are met by continuously validating the configuration. Strive to maintain
a vanilla configuration to avoid major support cost in the future. 

· Perform business analysis activities and identify areas of potential process improvement.
Assist in the coordination and implementation of new system initiatives. Ensure business
requirements are met by working side by side with the business. Work with others in the SAP
environment in learn/mentor situations.

· Proactively participate in the integration between related SAP functions from an
applications perspective. Partner with other ARIC support teams as required to support and
enhance the system. 

· Prepare test plans and scripts and perform unit and quality assurance testing. Coordinate
and drive end-user testing, and lead other activities as required. Record and document
technical/business processes and procedures. 

· Develop functional and best practice business process knowledge.

At least 4 full cycle SAP implementations in a hands-on configuration role. 4+ years SAP
configuration experience in FICO, with a strong understanding of SAP integration points. Must
have Product Costing configuration experience which includes defining new costing variants and
cost component structures. Position requires the ability to support the month-end close process
including Overhead, WIP, and Variance calculations as well as the year-end process of
supporting standard costing runs. 

Must be familiar with costing related drill-down reporting and summarization hierarchies. Must
have an understanding of production Planning master data such as Bill of Materials and
Production Orders. Familiarity with cost object hierarchies, template allocations, assessment
cycles and overhead allocation through Activity Based Costing a plus. 

Strong analytical problem solving skills in SAP Finance and Controlling Modules. Able to
provide on-call production/project support during off-hours. Ability to understand and follow
production support and project processes. Uses good judgment to resolve or escalate problems
or issues. Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities. Good team player with
strong organizational skills and an attention to detail. The ability to work independently and
be an effective contributor in a diversified team. Ability to work as a member of a virtual
team and travel as needed.
