Job Description:
Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) is a global developer, publisher and distributor of

Vivendi Universal Games is looking for an experienced Niku Business Analyst. This position is
responsible for functional design and technical development as well as business requirement
gathering and analysis. He/she will support enterprise-wide business applications utilizing
Oracle E-Business Suite and other Oracle database based applications. Strong familiarity with
Niku database schema is absolutely critical to the success of this role. Experience and
knowledge of product life-cycle is highly desired.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities

Manage and execute developmental activities from requirements gathering through production for
assigned functional departments.

Development of custom reports and portlets with Actuate in the Niku Application.

Troubleshooting and debugging of existing reports, portlets, and other development objects as
they relate to the Niku Application.

System Administration activities including user access, security, job and report creation, and

Creation of thorough specifications to adhere to enterprise change control policies.

Provide responsible, timely, detailed status of progress and expectations

Communicate with a broad spectrum of individuals


BA/BS in CS/MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience is essential

Strong background and working experience with the Niku Portfolio Management Application or
Niku Clarity versions 6.1.5 and above.

Strong expertise with Niku Author, Niku Studio, Niku Workbench, Microsoft Project, and Actuate
eReporting Designer.

Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, XML, and Visual Basic.

Ability to understand Entity Relationship (ER) Diagrams, and database schema design.

Experience in developing technical designs and specifications for applications extensions and

Strong project management skills.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Requires flexible working hours as necessary.

XML, Unix and related industry skills a real plus.
