Objective:

• Grow Analytics’ high tech client base and project revenue by leveraging Harte-Hanks’ various
sales and service channels as well as external contacts and trade organizations. Serve as the
High Tech Sales Organization’s point of entry to Analytics, supporting the sales process from
lead generation through solutions development and project definition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Grow revenue and profitability for Harte-Hanks by successfully integrating analytic
solutions into core service offerings
• Collaborate with Harte-Hanks’ High Tech Sales and Service Organizations to develop, market
and implement integrated services and solutions
• Implement a long term strategic plan to provide vision and focus on measurable departmental
goals
• Identify opportunities to apply market research and data analytic methodologies to improve
clients’ marketing & sales results
• Create new product offerings to address client needs such as channel development, lead
generation, best customer profiling through the use of data mining, modeling and market
research
• Collaborate with Harte-Hanks Market Intelligence to create data-driven solutions based on
our proprietary data properties
• Generate internal and external awareness of Analytics’ capabilities (e.g., capabilities
presentations, trade journal articles, speaking engagements, trade show attendance)
• Provide input to proposals submitted by the High Tech Sales Organization and Client Services
team

Requirements:

• BA/BS; MBA preferred
• Experience: 7+ years’ experience in either of the following: 
1) Direct/database marketing management responsibility in a high tech organization; or
2) High Techs client/account management responsibility in a direct/database marketing services
organization 
• Proven knowledge of database marketing strategies in the high tech industry and experience
in translating marketing objectives into analytical and/or database marketing applications
• Creative self-starter capable to both develop and systematize strategies for lead
generation, sales support and solutions development
• Ability to manage and facilitate complex working relationships including client and multiple
Harte-Hanks pillars/units
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Team-oriented, with a track record of excellence in internal/external customer service

Supervisory/Decision Making Responsibility:

• Provide leadership, direction and management support for 6-8 Technology Market analysts
