Dynamic individual needed for the role of Director of Business Development in the Southwest
Division. This position will report to the Southwest Division President to meet the Divisionís
business goals. Duties and Responsibilities: Identify current and future opportunities in
Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico that meet the goals and objectives of the Southwest Division
in targeted market sectors. Maintain and expand relationships with current and future clients,
architects, consultant and other business and community organizations. Initiate client follow
up on current projects and new leads. Direct and manage resources to assemble RFQ/RFP
proposals and presentations pulling together all personnel, graphics and other requirements to
meet established guidelines and deadlines. Develop and maintain a strong community and industry
involvement that is directly beneficial to the company. Assist division management in the
strategic planning and implementation of the Southwest Division's business plan.
Desired Experience and Credentials: A college degree. 7-10 years of experience in the AEC
industry. 3-4 years of experience in business development with demonstrated results.
Established/demonstrated base of contacts with 3-5 major relationships within the AEC industry
in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico . Superior organizational skills. Excellent communication,
presentation, and relationship building skills. Demonstrated ability to evaluate business
opportunities and develop winning strategies to land business. Ability to present a polished
and professional image at all times. Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and desk top publishing systems is
