Job Description:
Kaplan Higher Education Corporation is seeking qualified candidates for the position of
Executive Director in Training. The candidate will participate in a corporate training program
designed to provide experience in all facets of managing an accredited career school.

Kaplan Higher Education Corporation (KHEC) is a group of 76 schools and colleges offering
programs in fields such as healthcare, business, information technology, fashion and graphics
design and legal studies. Each of the individual schools in the division is separately
accredited by one of several national or regional accrediting agencies approved by the U.S.
Department of Education. Our schools offer bachelor's and associate's degrees as well as
diploma programs designed to provide students with the skills necessary to qualify them for
entry-level employment in fields such as healthcare, business, information technology, and

After successful completion of the training program and being placed as an Executive Director
in one of our 76 locations the individuals responsibilities will include monitoring the
operations budget, establishing school policies, maintaining compliance with regulatory
bodies, and working within corporate guidelines to identify, define and deliver the overall
philosophy and goals of the school. Extensive travel during the training period and a
willingness for relocation are required.

Successful Candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment with:
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in management, with profit and loss responsibilities
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills 
• Bachelor’s degree required. Masters Degree preferred.
• Persuasive Communication Skills, with Results-oriented mindset
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, while always keeping the eye toward a
customer focus 
• Consistently display of the highest levels of integrity and intelligence
