Titan Corporation's Systems Integration Sector has an immediate opening for a Project
Accounting Supervisor. This position is located in Reston, VA. 

The position will provide project control, budgeting, forecasting, billing, and financial
analysis within the C4ISR Systems Division. Specific responsibilities include: creating and
maintaining project budgets; performing profitability analysis; creating and updating EACís;
preparing preliminary cost estimates for new efforts and order modifications; managing
multiple subcontractors; setting up and maintaining projects in Costpoint accounting system;
overseeing the invoice process; ensuring revenue is accurate; analyzing unbilled receivables;
accruing subcontractor and material costs. This position will work closely with division
management to prepare annual and quarterly revenue and cost projections. Will provide monthly
variance analysis. Thorough understanding of overhead rates and GAAP revenue recognition

Must understand government contracts in sufficient detail to resolve problems and recommend
solutions to PMís and division manager. 

This position will act as a liaison between accounts payable, procurement, collections,
contracts department, and division project staff. Must be able to work independently on
multiple projects and be able to work under deadlines. This is a supervisory position that
will include providing training and guidance to the other project accountants within the

Background and Experience: (including education, skills, work activities)

(a) Minimum required: 

BA Degree and 8 to 10 years experience in project accounting/project control. 

Minimum 5 years experience in government contracting. 

Good understanding of contract financial management, overhead rate structures; and FAR and CAS

Experience in organizational revenue and indirect cost forecasting. Detail oriented; team
player; reliable; works with minimum supervision; eager to learn; strong organizational and
communications skills; excellent Excel spreadsheet skills.
