AlliedBarton Security Services, America's leading contract security services company, is
looking for an experienced and customer focused Vice President, General Manager in our North
East Division to oversee and direct all operational, financial and administrative functions
for assigned region or geographic area as we win our customers for life.

Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee operational, financial and administrative functions for region.
• Direct and monitor annual budgets and operating plans.
• Provide timely, in-depth and comprehensive forecasts, projections and data to senior
• Keep up to date with marketplace changes, competitor information and changes within the
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior management at all current and
potential key accounts.
• Working with VP of Business Development, generate new business and drive AlliedBarton’s
strategic initiatives.
• Manage the delivery of services through subordinate managers and fill in for them in their
• Coach, counsel, and develop direct reports.
• Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems.
• Create opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and tools to achieve business
development objectives.
• Act as liaison between AlliedBarton and the customer to foster customer intimacy, including
travel to/from face to face meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information and data.
• Travel to assigned district offices.
• Actively participate in community and business related organizations.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

• Ten years or more of general management experience at a Vice President level or above within
a Fortune 500 service industry organization.
• Minimum BA/BS degree in business or related field.
• Strong track record with developing managers.
• Ability and proven experience reading a balance sheet and effectively managing the P&L.
• Ability to work in a team oriented management environment and to help identify and solve
• Leverage resources optimally to maximize value to the client and maximize rate of return to
the business.
• Use own initiative to achieve exponential improvement and competitive advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including highly effective written and
oral delivery.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, scheduling/payroll applications, etc.
Some knowledge and experience with the use of quality and/or continuous improvement tools,
techniques, practices, etc.
• Energetic, versatile and strategically oriented agent of change.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates.
Supervisors and the general public.
• Ability to deal with internal and external customers and to ensure compliance with fair
• Reliable, appropriate transportation to do field work and the flexibility to travel on an as
needed basis.
