PPQA Verification and Validation Engineer

Primary Purpose : 
This individual works directly with R & D management and product development teams in the
planning, execution, documentation and review of verification and validation (V & V) efforts
associated with new product designs and product design modifications prior to their production
release. Responsible for assuring that V & V efforts associated with assigned projects are
properly and thoroughly conducted, documented and reviewed. Performs hands-on simulated use
testing of new products and acts as liaison between the development team and clinical trial
sites during new product validation efforts. Actively participates in the investigation of
product design problems reported by customers.

Qualifications / Skills Required : 

BS degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or equivalent

8+ years experience Technical Service, Quality Assurance or Manufacturing of Medical
Electronic products

Defibrillation, Transcutaneous Pacing and/or patient monitoring experience preferred

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated customer communication

Proficiencies with standard office computer software

Knowledge of regulatory standards applicable to medical device development desired
