Colorado Catering, Inc., located at the Quality Inn on Buckley Road in North Syracuse is
looking for an energetic and seasoned professional to help take our catering business to
greater heights. Hours will be long, so flexibility is essential.
As the Catering Manager you will supervise total catering operations to include the
Serve as sales spokesperson – selling & coordinating all events
Develop & maintain business relationships
Manage day to day operations of catering facility
Discuss catering arrangements with clients.
Plan and cost out menus and events to maximize customer satisfaction and profits.
Arrange for rentals on behalf of clients.
Purchase food and consumable supplies.
Plan and coordinate food preparation and catering operations.
Train, supervise, and mentor paid kitchen assistants during on and off-site operations.
Recruit and schedule staff to adequately cover event and contract meal responsibilities.
Responsible for the routine cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, storage areas, and
Maintain inventory and control of food, cooking and serving equipment, utensils, etc.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and/or 2-3 years in the culinary
industry. Must also possess management experience with focus on client and customer services.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and time management skills are essential to succeed in
this role. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while providing a high level of
customer service is critical.
Salary is commensurate with experience. Medical, dental, 401k, vacation & tuition
