Responsibilities: Our environment emphasizes nursing processes (such as assessment, planning,
implementation and evaluation of patients) as the frame of reference for practice as a
professional registered nurse while providing excellent patient care. Candidate will serve as
primary or associate nurse on a patient care team and will have the authority and
accountability to make patient care management decisions relative to the nursing plan.
Collaboration with other members of the patient care team assists in the planning and
coordination of the patient care goals in order to achieve optimal outcomes. Candidate will
recognize patient care needs on the continuum and collaborate with other providers to
establish a comprehensive plan of care, achieve efficiency between delivery settings, and
monitor outcomes. Candidate will demonstrate and support leadership efforts for compassionate,
competent patient care and staff development.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Current registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a registered nurse
Must have a sound understanding of biological, social, and behavioral theory normally acquired
through the completion of a BSN degree
