Mutual Fund Correspondence Specialist

Boston Financial has current opportunities for 401k Correspondence Specialists. In this
position you will be responsible for producing and editing correspondence that is sent to
Representatives, Plan Administrators, Participants in the plan or to other financial
institutions as well as communicating by telephone.

Principal Responsibilities of the 401k Correspondence Specialist include:

*Producing correspondence, addressing questions/concerns using the automated letter writing
system as well as communicating by telephone; reviewing transactions prior to processing
correspondence, checking for necessary legal requirements and determining if clarification of
a request is required. 
*Assures own work is in accordance to established policies, procedures, deadlines, and quality
standards, routing work for further action or follow when necessary 
*Researching and resolving routine processing problems as needed; communicates daily with
senior specialist and manager regarding the status of work processed for the day. 
*Completing necessary forms, preparing daily/monthly reports, and maintaining logs and account
records; performs archiving duties when necessary. 

To qualify for this position you should have business writng, analytical, problem solving,
communication and follow-through skills for processing retirement plan transactions,
researching information and finding solutions to pending items and discrepancies. Previous
experience in the retirement plan industry as well as experience using DST products such as
AWD and EnCorr is a plus. 

The entry level salary for this position is in the $26,000 - $29,000/year range, depending on
