Job Description:
Belcan AETD is currently looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer for our Windsor Locks office
to contribute to multiple external engine component development programs. Candidates should
have a Bachelorís Degree in Mechanical Engineering and five years experience with gas turbine
mechanical components and systems including bearings, seals, gears and lubrication systems
(pumps, coolers, filters, valves, etc.). The successful candidate will participate in the
design, fabrication, procurement, assembly and certification testing of gas turbine engine
accessories. The candidate will also prepare validation and certification test plans. The
engineer will prepare development/certification bill of material and will schedule and manage
hardware in support of development and certification engines. He/She will also facilitate the
resolution of manufacturing, production and service problems, as well as, prepare budgets,
earned value assessment and configuration control. Successful candidates will possess good
communication, teaming and computer skills and be very results oriented. IMAN experience
helpful, but not required. Former Hamilton Sundstrand, PWA or related supplier personnel are
preferred.
