Position Responsibilities:

Perform DOE2 energy simulations for supermarket and industrial facilities
Develop and write feasibility studies describing energy efficiency alternatives for
improvements in design and control of various facility energy systems including refrigeration,
HVAC, lighting, etc.
Present study results to owners and design teams
 

Required Qualifications:

BSME degree
Thorough understanding of engineering thermodynamics, including refrigeration cycle
Advanced oral and written communications skills
Well developed basic computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word and AutoCAD)
 

Beneficial Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in the HVACR industry
Prior experience performing energy studies
Advanced degree
Exposure to control theory and PLC control systems
Programming experience (e.g. VB, XML)
 

Key Performance Criteria:

Correctness and accuracy of analysis and technical writing
Ability to solve problems by understanding and applying fundamental concepts
Demonstrated effective communication with vendors, clients and associates
Ability to organize a project and achieve goals within a defined deadline
