Our Lexington, MA office is has an opportunity for an entry-level engineer/scientist who will
be working with teams to complete remedial investigations, environmental assessments, remedial
actions, and engineering studies. The position will involve extensive fieldwork including
collecting soil and ground water samples, installing monitoring wells, conducting remedial
system operations and maintenance, and collecting hydrogeologic and ecological data. This
position requires someone with very strong analytical and writing skills, enthusiasm to work
with large project teams, and a willingness to travel.
The responsibilities for this position include:
•Working with field teams to collect environmental samples at hazardous waste, brownfield, and
•Completing field work and report preparation for site assessments and remediation projects
•Analyzing hydrogeologic, chemical, marine, and/or ecological data using a variety of software
packages (Access, Excel)
•Working with project teams to prepare large remedial investigation reports
•Researching technical issues relating to remedial investigations, remediation strategies, and
The requirements for the position include:
•0 to 3 years experience in the environmental field, including hands-on field experience.

•Undergraduate degree (3.2+ GPA) in engineering, geology, chemistry, or biology
•Flexibility to travel and desire to work outdoors
•Ability to work with multi-disciplinary project teams
•Exceptionally strong organizational and communication skills.
The following additional skills will enhance an applicant’s candidacy:
•Experience in Access and GIS programs
•Possess OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training
•Experience with ground water modeling
