cushions targeted at kayak and canoe enthusiasts.  We currently sell to specialty paddling
retailers throughout the United States, and internationally in Canada, Australia, Germany,
Sweden and Norway. We have received favorable reviews in SeaKyaker Magazine (Feb. 2005) and
KanuCulture (Vol. 11 No. 1 2005). We are now ready to expand our line of high performance

Description

 

We are seeking a high-energy person with some experience as an inside sales professional, to
direct the launch and expansion of our performance comfort cushion line.  The sales director
will work with the small I-Tek management team to develop and design product materials and
direct and manage sales to catalogues and retail businesses.  The sales director will also
coordinate internet sales activities.  The ideal candidate will have experience selling to
high distribution catalogue companies

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Develop a plan for launching new product lines in collaboration with I-Tek management 
Generate and follow through with sales opportunities in chosen target markets 
Manage internet sales, both to individuals and B to B 
Develop marketing and sales communication materials 
 

Requirements

 

Bachelor’s degree is required 
Experience in internet sales and inside sales is a plus 
Knowledge or familiarity with travel, auto or office products is a plus 
Self-motivation, high-energy and an entrepreneurial spirit

This is a full time salaried position, with a portion of the work week spent onsite in our
Lawrence, MA office.
