The new accountant’s role gives us the opportunity to divide the Finance team by disciplines.
The new accountant will be responsible for Accounts Receivable, Collections and the Assets side
of the balance sheet. You will be reporting directly to the US Controller so will have many
opportunities to grow and challenge yourself.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
Invoicing of all sales orders.
Accounts Receivable collection calls including follow up.
Establish policies/procedures to ensure that cash is collected in a timely manner.
Updating Siebel with Invoice numbers, dates and payment status.
Preparing deposits and recording cash receipts.
Monthly reconciliation of sales spreads.
Production of monthly and yearly margin reports.
Production of commission statements.
Maintaining and updating commission and target information in sales spread.
Completing W-9 forms for customers.
Financial Reporting and Budgeting
Balance Sheet account reconciliation.
Prepare month-end journal entries.
Assisting in the preparation of the US budget and reforecast.
Analysis of expense variances.
Other Finance Tasks
Assisting in year-end audit preparation.
Updating and preparing accounting policies and procedures.
Other projects as required.
