Position provides inside technical support. Qualified candidate will support our Dealer
channel from our National Diagnostic Center. Position will answer technical issues, track
calls, submit reports and test for solutions. Units supported include Multi-Functional Devices
(MFD) copier, printer, scanner and facsimile, including PC applications for color and black and
white products). Some in-house repairs may be required. Position will evaluate network
applications, software and network communications, troubleshoot problems, conduct tests and
adjust or repair equipment as necessary. Position will also provide guidance, technical
information and assistance to lower level technicians and our Dealer channel. Effective
communication skills needed to solve problems via the telephone.
Associate's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, a related discipline, or the equivalent,
plus a minimum of two years experience working on network connected Multi-Functional Devices,
preferably Kyocera Mita or Konica Minolta. Experience working with and supporting network and
PC applications, operating systems (Microsoft), Internet protocol and network communications
using Multi-Functional Devices. A broad knowledge of facsimile equipment features, functions,
operations, specification, and interface requirements. Effective communication, analytical,
presentation, and training are also required.
