Job Description:
This position may be part-time or full-time.  Primary responsibilities include:

Develop an annual development and marketing plan for NOAH, in collaboration with the Executive
Director, for review and adoption by the Board of Directors, including costs, roles and
responsibilities, messages and materials to be developed, prospects, anticipated revenue and
timing. Assume primary responsibility for plan implementation.
Research, identify and pursue new sources of funding for the programs that NOAH offers or
plans to offer, locally or regionally
Establish strong relationships and undertake regular communication with existing and future
NOAH funders, including individual donors; develop clear understanding of changing priorities,
proposal and reporting requirements and timelines. 
Oversee the development of persuasive marketing materials, including web, that address NOAH’s
needs and investor priorities
Establish collaborative working relationships with all NOAH staff; develop substantive
understanding of their work and provide assistance for individual resource development or
marketing needs. Assist senior managers to identify and take advantage of key marketing
opportunities within their respective departments
Maintain and regularly update an accessible data base on all funders, grantors and investors
with key information and history
Prepare materials for and participate in meetings with key funders as requested

The ideal candidate possesses:

Demonstrated success (minimum 5 years) in fundraising in the non-profit sector
Demonstrated effectiveness in developing and implementing a marketing plan or strategy in the
non-profit sector.
Excellent oral and written communication skills 
An entrepreneurial bent
Constructive, collaborative, creative approach to the work
Development of individual donor base and web skills
