To assist PCG’s state and local child welfare and juvenile justice agency clients, the Child
Welfare Claiming Specialist is responsible for establishing a coordinated schedule of all
entitlement (Medicaid & Title IV-E) claiming activities for assigned projects to ensure claims
are prepared and delivered in a timely manner. Documentation to support claims should be
maintained and rejected submissions should be reassessed to maximize revenue.
Residential Provider Program Eligibility, Enrolling New Providers for Title XIX Claiming,
Conducting Redeterminations of Providers
· Residential Program Claiming (XIX and IVE)
· XIX A/R Management
· Assist Consultants with Residential Program Rate Setting (IV-E and XIX)
· Contracted Title IV-E Foster care
· Assist with Time Studies
· Assist with Residential Program Rate setting
· Title IV-E Maintenance claim coordinator
The Child Welfare Claiming Specialist should have prior experience with entitlement programs.
A bachelor’s degree and strong analytical, financial, quantitative skills are essential.
Occasional travel may be required; about once per month or less. Must have strong computer
skills in Microsoft Access and Excel.
