Business Development Manager / Associate 

 

Formatech has an immediate opening for a season Business Development veteran who has the
ability to play a dynamic role in Formatech's continued growth by generating sales and
establishing market presence in biotech and pharmaceutical markets. Your demonstrated ability
and experience in selling contract product development services and/or contract manufacturing
is the “Key” to our mutual success. You will manage the entire sales process from identifying
and qualifying new opportunities, through proposal writing and agreement negotiation. The ideal
candidate has the ability to apply both analytical reasoning and creative problem solving to
develop unique solutions to our clients needs. This is a highly visible position that could
include management responsibilities for the right individual. Excellent communication,
organizational and presentation skills are required. A solid understanding of the drug
development process is a strong plus. The ability to travel within the US and abroad is
required.

Requirements: 
Qualifications: BS in scientific discipline and 5+ years business development/outside sales
experience to senior managers within our target market. Must have a thorough knowledge of the
biotech & pharmaceutical industry, terminology and an understanding of the drug development
process. Must possess strong presentation and sales skills.
