Key Responsibilities


Working closely with the Global Product Manager, Sales teams, and Operations, supports,
improves and resolves issues in the forecasting, supply chain management, and logistics and
related processes for the reagent product lines. Owns mini-SIOP and forecasting for all
Owns exception pricing and pricing adjustments, margin analysis, account and regional pricing
Identifies and drives improvement plans for cost, productivity, quality and customer
satisfaction/retention with cross-functional partner(s). 
Works with all functions to drive reagent functional competency into all business processes,
ensuring those touching reagents are designed and executed as efficiently as possible, and
facilitate strong customer satisfaction and sales growth.
Performs detailed analysis of account/market/regional sales performance by product line.
Identifies needs of specific accounts, problem areas, and opportunities for sales growth and
implements or supports action plans. 
Supports the implementation and of the go-to-market and channel strategies for from the
territory to the account level.
Develops and implements market and account penetration plans, in conjunction with sales and
Global Product management. 
In conjunction with sales, is responsible for funnel management, and identifies barriers and
solutions to improve closure rates and revenue conversion. With the Market Segment leader
coordinates the deployment of internal resources and applications efforts for account and
product penetration plans.
In conjunction with Global Product Management, MARCOM and field sales, identifies key market
awareness, lead generation, promotional strategies and other marketing activities required to
drive growth. Provides guidance for market messaging and product positioning, and
priortization and deployment of all marketing activities.
Develops and maintains network of key customers and opinion leaders to provide vehicles for
sound market research, expanded collaborations, and preferred partner agreements. 


Key Requirements


Solid and broad domain knowledge in life sciences, with a focus on Drug Discovery, Proteomics,
and Biomarker reagents spanning both pharma/biotech and academic segments.
Understanding of/ expertise in reagent businesses and operations.
5-7 years experience in a business leadership role 
Experience dealing with complex scientific/technology/marketing issues
Ability to influence within a matrixed organization
Able to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment with the ability to stay focused
amidst a changing market landscape
Excellent team work and collaboration skills
Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines 
Strong financial/analytical skills
Good understanding of selling and marketing tools
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Sales, Product Management or Product Marketing experience required.
Graduate degree in related area of technology
Six Sigma certification a plus
Ability to travel a minimum of 25%
