Job Description:
Responsible for the accurate and timely filing of all U.S. income and franchise tax returns;
work with global controllers to monitor tax filing positions and compliance initiatives in
non-U.S. jurisdictions; manage all federal and state income tax audits. This will include
setting strategy and timeline, providing proper documentation to auditors and negotiating
positions with authorities; provide ongoing communication to management on audit progress,
including issue identification and financial statement implications; liaise with non U.S.
offices on local tax audits and provide assistance and expertise as necessary; identify areas
of tax risk and exposure. Work closely with the Tax Director to ensure adequacy of global
income tax reserves; assess compliance processes and make recommendations on best practices;
ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for all tax controls under Sarbanes Oxley
requirements; responsible for oversight of federal and state estimated tax payments; respond
to federal, state and local income tax notices; assist in the management and preparation of
the quarterly and annual income tax provisions calculations under FAS109; assist in the
preparation and analysis of global effective tax rate; may be responsible for management of
other personnel within the department. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
Masters in Taxation preferred and seven to years of directly related experience. An equivalent
combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the
specific education and experience listed above. CPA preferred. Strong communications and
organization skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
