Application Engineer / Systems Engineer

Job Description:

The candidate must be a dynamic, multi-tasking engineer with excellent problem solving skills.
Key performance objectives encompass pre sales application engineering and feasibility studies,
guidance to other application engineers, troubleshooting and testing of systems in the factory
and in the field and excellent communication skills with our customers and staff overseas. The
candidate should be able to support manufacturing in the final assembly and test of our systems
and perform installation and factory and on-site buy-offs to meet customers specifications and



The job requires:   

         Experience in opto-mechanical and electrical assemblies required

         Understanding of optics, illumination and motion control

         Understanding of system control software and reporting

         Experience and willingness to travel internationally

         Multitasking with ability to improvise and high adaptability to changes in

         Ability to go-all-the-way to satisfy our customers

         Ability to provide field service and support

         Demonstrated ability to work independently

         Proven prior equipment troubleshooting expertise

         Proven prior experience in a small company where wearing multiple hats is a must.



Desired skills

         BSEE, BSME, IE, or a BS/BA in Physics or Photonics 

         Systems engineering background is preferred

         Understanding of CAD design is preferred
