Reporting to the US Sales Manager, HBS Press, the Sales Coordinator will contribute to and
support the overall activities of the Press sales department. Key responsibilities include:
provide customers with pricing/packaging/descriptive information for all Press titles; provide
academic and corporate sales groups with necessary tools and information to sell Press titles;
analyze sales data and alert constituents of potential opportunities; coordinate Authornet
activities and provide authors with more detailed sales information upon request; create and
distribute sales meeting materials; support sales, publicity and marketing activities of Press
international distributors; maintain and expand existing customer database; other
responsibilities as required.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree. One to two years publishing experience preferred;
demonstrated interest in publishing required. Excellent interpersonal skills and extremely
strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work well independently and
within a group. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
