¨ Must have the ability to work well independently and in a detailed, professional, and
¨ Knowledge of leading music programs.
¨ The ability to play a musical instrument is desired.
¨ Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment.
¨ General knowledge of software applications: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access,
Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
¨ Extensive data entry as well as familiarity with 10 key and dictation machines.
¨ Must be a self-starter, able to prioritize multiple tasks and coordinate work between
three department heads with minimal supervision.
¨ Must be a fast learner, able to keep pace with multiple priorities.
¨ Possess excellent communication skills in written and verbal forms; good grasp of
written English and spelling.
¨ Professional and courteous telephone manners and skills.
¨ Knowledge of Salvation Army practices and organization is desirable.
¨ Knowledge of Spanish as a second language is helpful.
