The candidate will be responsible for determining and planning product strategy, feature and
functional specifications, and optimizations for web based applications used in the travel




         Provide in-depth market analysis on competitive landscapes, trends in consumer
demand, and emerging technologies in online travel and in eCommerce


         Contribute in developing and updating the product roadmap/strategy


         Conduct market research through online surveys and focus groups


         Analyze and create business cases for identified strategic opportunities


         Translate customer, partner, stakeholder, and end-user needs into clear, concise and
complete detailed product requirements


         Establish product positioning by defining product or feature differentiators


         Work with user interface designers to deliver a high standard of usability for


         Work with developers, system engineers, and QA engineers throughout the product
development, testing, and implementation phases to ensure product integrity


         Monitor performance of products


         Act as main point of contact for any questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding


         Evaluate and recommend improvements to company processes related to product


This position requires knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Outlook, Visio, Graphic
Editors, and HTML design tools.  In addition, you must have an understanding of user interface
standards, limitations, and technologies.

developers, systems engineers, and QA engineers


Finally, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or three years of related
experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
