Our ideal candidate will possess:
4 year college degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience in group tour and travel sales coordination.
Experience managing in a customer service, sales or contact center environment.
Sound computer skills: Windows Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and database management.
Excellent internal and external communication skills.
Attention to detail and great organizational skills required.
Must be a team player with the ability to also work independently.
Proven ability to successfully interact with all levels of staff and guests.
The responsibilities of this position will include but not limited to:
Management of reservations team – support and fulfill when need arises.
Ensure a positive customer experience to all guests that come into contact with the
Ensure sufficient agent cover for reservations.
Ensure agents have adequate skills & training to engage with customers
Ensure systems & working environment are in place to support the agents
Monitor staff & systems to ensure quality.
Key point of contact/liaison with all internal departments, particularly operations.
Ensure that Operations team is briefed on all group arrivals and special requests.
Provide training for Operations/Admissions staff on group reservations, arrivals and
Ensure that Operations team is briefed on new FIT clients and procedures.
Deliver/coordinate with Operations department on all secondary spend programs including, but
not limited to birthdays, camps, schools, and corporate groups.
Deliver and coordinate educational programs and seminars.
Provide weekly reports to TSD/GSM on group booking patterns, issues, concerns, and monthly
