Job Description:
Applications include but are not limited to Computer Aided Dispatch, Telephone Switch,
Computerized 911, Telephony, Alphanumeric Paging, Comoputerized Radio Console, Financial,
Trouble Ticket, GIS and MIS. Job Duties: * Monitor applications for normal operations *
Perform all first echelon troubleshooting prior to seeking vendor support * Performs file
maintenance, requests software correction or hardware repair as necessary * Performs scheduled
routine system mainttenance functions including back-ups and management reports *Performs
programming and parameter changes as necessary *Interacts with vendors, monitors and documents
all system changes and corrections perfomed by vendors * Develops, updates and maintains full
documentation on all applications. *Conducts analysis and recommends modifications based on
system upgrades and customer agency enhancement requests *Communicates with customer agencies
regarding questions related to the applications. *Supports and troubleshoots by phone and in
person applications that support remote users *Carries pager and responds on a 24 hour basis
for emergencies
