We are seeking a rising star who is ready for the next step in their career to join our team at
our fast-paced Pyramid Alehouse on K Street in downtown Sacramento as the Kitchen Manager. This
manager is responsible for achieving results by contributing to the restaurant in the areas of
operations, finance and staffing, as well as supervising restaurant operations on a shift
basis to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Position will include selection of new
employees, orientation, training, performance appraisals, terminations, administrative work,
and special projects as assigned by the General Manager.
Ideal candidates will have at least one year of management experience in a high-volume
restaurant (preferably chain restaurant), and will have experience in hands-on supervision of
a team of 12 or more employees, be customer service driven, have strong employee relations
skills, organizational skills, listening skills, and will be familiar with labor, alcohol, and
health laws and codes. Flexibility to working evening, weekends, and holidays as business needs
dictate is required.
