looking for. We’re an expanding career college looking for a new Director of Career Services.
Examples of the responsibilities of the Director of Career Services are as follows:
Recruit and maintain internship sites for our students.
Monitor students while on their internship.
Advise students on resume and interviewing skills.
Train Career Services staff on the educational standards set by our accrediting body.
Contact potential employers in order to place our students.
Verify graduate placement and maintain an on-call list of grads seeking employment.
Solicit and maintain relationships with Heritage Institute’s Advisory Board members through
Plan and conduct semi-annual graduation ceremonies.
Develop community events for student volunteers in all school programs.
Monitor and/or lead volunteer service activities.
Maintain Heritage Institute’s positive image in the community.
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
Business or management experience is preferred.
Proprietary school experience and knowledge of ACCSCT is a huge plus.
A Baccalaureate Degree is desired.
