MDC is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Signal Processing
Engineer. This engineer will focus on non-destructive damage detection technologies and
products. The candidate¿s responsibilities will include analytical work relating to the
composition and optimization of algorithms for custom damage detection solutions. Many of
these projects will involve pattern recognition.

A qualified candidate must have a BS or higher with several years of relevant applied
experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering. The ideal candidate will
have a clear understanding of and experience with data acquisition devices, signal
conditioning, data processing, filters, de-noising, pattern recognition and algorithm
formulation and implementation. Experience with non-destructive test methods, MEMS devices,
sensors, actuators, and piezoelectric material is highly desirable. Exposure to programming
languages and engineering tools such as LabVIEW, Matlab or ANSYS is a plus.

Additional Requirements:
The candidate must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, have
excellent communication skills, and be able to efficiently and effectively multi-task. At this
