Job Description:
Account Manager

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Report to Branch Manager. 
Has a dotted line responsibility to the Regional Account Manager Supervisor as to BNCís
policies, procedures and best practices. 
Account Manager is responsible to meet all of BNCís current benchmarks of performance of: 
Fund 20 loans or more per month. 
Meet minimum closing ratio benchmark of 40%. 
Maintain a minimum of 55 to 60 submissions from one or more Account Executives and be able to
maintain the current performance benchmarks. 
Doc out on average a minimum of one loan per day per the current benchmarks of performance. 
Ensure that 50% of all submissions are accompanied by an appraisal.
Maintain and keep current BNCís approved pipeline management system. 
Responsible for detailed tracking of each loans status and making proper conversation notes
and setting a proper follow up date. 
Account Manager is responsible to input information into Empower, stack files, run credit,
print labels, pre-underwrite files prior to submission to underwriting, prepare modifications,
pricing exceptions, proactively clear conditions, call out approvals and doc orders, process
canceled and denied files.
 

Qualified candidates must have the following:

 

Wholesale, sub-prime experience a must. 
High school diploma or equivalent required. 
2+ years of similar experience in mortgage/real estate lending including one year in subprime
lending.
Self-motivated self-starter as well as a highly organized team player 
Ability to work quickly, with extreme accuracy and attention to detail 
Ability to use independent judgment and discretion 
Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
Excellent organizational skills 
Ability to work with minimum supervision
