We are looking for a high-energy individual with outstanding interpersonal skills to assist in
the selling of our world-class line of database products.
This person will:
Work closely with field sales representatives to strategize on accounts from both a business
and technical perspective.
Manage and drive proof of concepts, field trials, and pilots.
Work with our customers and partners to support ongoing sales activities including developing
responses to RFI’s, RFP’s etc.
Present and articulate technical concepts to customers and provide product feedback from
customers to the Sales team.
University degree in engineering or computer science, preferred.
Strong knowledge of data base concepts, architectures, and deployments including ODBC, SQL and
Hands on experience with Windows 2000, UNIX and C, C++ and/or Java.
Installation, configuration and hands-on system experience with complex database applications.
Excellent presentation skills; able to motivate and create and close sales opportunities.
Excellent "business sense" for evaluating sales opportunities in a dynamic and entrepreneurial
Excellent business writing skills and experience formulating contract and proposal responses.
Ability to manage large number of accounts and/or sales opportunities (proven management
Ability to quickly understand customer situations/problems and address with customer.
Strong follow-up skills in working with evaluators in customer accounts
Can travel to 50% of the time.
