This position is direct hire and located in the Malvern area.
In this position, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and management
of all hard and electronic litigation files, including products liability, patent, employment
and contract litigation as well as applicable employment counseling related files and
For consideration, you MUST possess experience in Discovery Process Management, including:
receipt and response to opposition discovery requests
solicitation, receipt, organization and management of internal documents and information in
order to facilitate, strategize and maximize privilege in connection with discovery responses,
requests and testimony, associated with litigation, regulatory proceedings or processes and /
or government or compliance investigations
interaction with outside counsel, internal personnel and opposing counsel, including drafting
and dissemination of simple correspondence, interrogatories and document and other discovery
requests and responses and objections; coordination and scheduling of depositions,
interrogatories, document and other discovery requests and responses.
Qualified candidate will possess:
A.A./B.S./B.A from an accredited institution; paralegal degree or relevant training from a
5 years MINIMUM experience in any combination of major law firm or corporate legal department
with litigation experience.
Well developed research skills, including internet and legal software systems such as WestLaw
Skills should include facility with researching case law, statutes, regulations and
legislative and administrative histories, journals, publications, newspapers, drug product
information, trade associate information and other reference materials and internet sites
Exceptional verbal written and telephone communication skills in addition to knowledge of and
proficiency with various software programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PP &
Outlook), Access and Lotus Notes.
Must be professional and at ALL times sensitive to and compliant with applicable legal
principles, industry standards and company policies, procedures and/or practices related to
the assertion and maintenance of privileged and confidential and/or proprietary treatment of
information and communications
Must be a self starter who can work well both independently and with colleagues and at the
same time take directions from a very busy management team as to appointed tasks, without
unnecessary hand holding.
