Job Description:
What Does a P&D Service Manager Do?
The P&D Service Manager is responsible for managing the pick-up and delivery as well as the
loading and unloading of trailers and vans. Recruits, hires, trains and evaluates package
handlers and service managers. This position is also responsible for creating a safe work
environment including monitoring the maintenance of equipment, conducting presort meetings,
and troubleshooting problems on each sort. Plans sort strategy based on projected volume, head
count, and other special circumstances. Will conduct customer service rides to ensure safe
driving and observe technique. Responsible for the overall quality of the delivery end of our
business. 
Do You Qualify?

Good PC skills (MS Office) along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Clean
driving record a must. Prior leadership/operations management experience (transportation or
distribution preferred). Excellent leadership and communication skills. BA/BS required
