First New England Mortgage is proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston and
Since 1987, the Greater Boston chapter has built or renovated 63 homes for local families in
need - from multi-family buildings in Roxbury and South Boston to homes in Belmont and
Needham. As a corporate sponsor, FNE pledges $10 to Habitat for every loan we close. If your
loan officer matches the pledge, we'll donate $20. Our goal for 2005 is to raise $25,000 for
Habitat - and we're well on our way.
We also volunteer our time as on-site construction volunteers on projects like the proposed
Arrowhead - a neighborhood of five multi-unit buildings, a central plaza and children's
playground on Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester. By working alongside the homeowner families to
build these structures we are demonstrating our commitment to help break the cycle of poverty
and create the pride that comes with home ownership and a thriving community.
