Job Description:
Reporting to the Vice President and General Counsel, the Legal Assistant is responsible for
tracking open and resolved legal and contract requests and maintaining all legal and contract
files, including corporate record books and stock record files. The Legal Assistant will
distribute information regarding signed contracts around the company, assist in obtaining all
contract approvals, scan all signed contracts and post them to the contract database, obtain
original signatures on contracts, and send contracts to customers, business partners, and
vendors.  

 

The Legal Assistant will assist in preparation for legal and board meetings by scheduling
meetings, preparing board and stockholder actions and minutes, and prepare presentation
materials and correspondence, including monthly and quarterly legal metrics.  

 

Additionally, the Legal Assistant will arrange travel and accommodations, prepare and submit
expense reports for travel and other matters, oversee outgoing and incoming mail for the
department, and provide back-up to other administrators in the company and cover the reception
area.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

 

         Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior administrative positions or as a
paralegal, preferably in a high technology company

         Outstanding attention to detail and organization skills, with a positive, can-do
attitude

         Excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills

         Demonstrable experience managing tasks in a dynamic work environment with an ability
to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

         Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines

         Ability to maintain confidentiality on sensitive legal matters, and company matters
in general

         A BS/BA degree or equivalent

High level of ambition with a strong aptitude to learn
Experience with a fast growing software company
