Job Title:                    Technical Trainer, E-Learning Producer

Job Summary:

 

The E-Learning Producer/Outreach Coordinator is primarily responsible for scheduling,
coordinating, and producing e-Learning webcast sessions, managing recording libraries, and
overall system functionality. In addition to the e-Learning responsibilities this individual
will assist the Director in educational outreach initiatives to academic institutions and
organizations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

∑         Constantly review recordings to ensure they are current; update recordings when
necessary

∑         Back up the databases and regularly practice recovery

∑         Assist presenters with the design of their training curriculum for optimal
performance

∑         Assist presenters in the delivery of their online training

∑         Update training process periodically and with upgrades/updates & process changes

∑         Keep up to date on technology and process industry options and methodologies

∑         Manage user accounts and access rights

∑         Test and deploy application updates/upgrades

∑         Understand business processes and ensure system is best providing support for
business needs.

∑         Monitor and adjust e-Learning system and program for optimal availability and
performance

∑         Produce utilization and performance reports upon request

∑         Serve as first-tier support and technical assistance to e-Learning end-users (both
employees and customers) and develop a workable e-Learning helpdesk protocol. 

∑         Assist with Sales and Marketing webcasts upon request

∑         Produce and edit recordings to meet customer needs

∑         Assist Director of Learning Services with promotion and maintenance of university
outreach program

∑         Manage membership database, license agreements and license renewals

 

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

 

∑         Experience with distance learning software systems (i.e. Centra Systems, Webex,
Placeware, etc.)

∑         Demonstrated success in customer (internal/external) interactions
