Major Responsibilities


Negotiating: The Senior Contracts Assistant will be responsible for negotiating rates with our
overseas suppliers and vendors.  


Responsible for maintaining the budget.


Responsible for making hotel reservations for European tours.  He or she will liaise with
other departments within NETC to assure that client needs are met.


Responsible for researching, identifying and negotiating new contracts with alternative
suppliers and vendors primarily in Europe and Latin America.


Responsible for pricing customized tours for Sales department.  


Sending updates to suppliers and hotels on a weekly/monthly basis


Preparing deposits to be submitted to the Finance department


Vendor Maintenance- Answers questions on payments as requested by vendors.


Follow-up on payment confirmations from vendors.


Quality Control



Working Relationships/Contacts: 
The Senior Contracts Assistant will work directly with the Contracts Manager.  He or she will
also work closely with other NETC departments such as Overseas Operations, Sales and Finance.



Education and Experience: The position requires a Bachelors Degree and two years in the
contracting/pricing field with strong analytical skills. Experience in Tourism preferred but
not required.  Microsoft Office is required with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  Candidate
must have studied abroad.


Travel: The position will require two to three estimated overseas trip per year or as needed.


Foreign Language Skills:  The ideal candidate must speak both French and Spanish fluently.
