The Client Service Consultant is a client-facing position that requires project management,
client relationship management, and internal resource management skills. The Consultant is
responsible for making sure the client receives the proper service through the proactive
attention to planning, expectation setting, and execution. The Consultant is responsible for
the day-to-day management of the project and ensuring that the client's requirements are met
and delivered in accordance with Ibis’s quality and service standards.

Responsibilities

 

Client and Project Management

• Act as primary point of contact for client on project related activities

• Scope projects with client and provide consultation as needed to define project
requirements

• Provide project management and technical consultation on assigned projects

• Complete engagement letter or project schedule completely and accurately

• Coordinate with Production department on turnaround times and provide appropriate project
instructions according to established protocols

• Communicate customer commitments on delivery expectations and service and technical
capabilities that comply with established guidelines and policies

• Provide client status updates on both a regular and ad hoc basis

• Provide standard reporting, including required explanations

• Provide client support during online review and document production

• Research and answer existing project inquires from both internal and external clients

• Change management communication, including revised project contracts, etc.

• Participate in issue resolution both internally and externally, adhering to established
escalation policies

• Manage and coordinate Client Services Associates activities for project support

• Coordinate technical support requirements with Technical Consultants and Software
Engineering

 

General

• Maintain an expert knowledge of products & services 

• Operate in a deadline driven, constantly changing environment 

• Manage multiple concurrent projects

• Proactively suggest improvements to current processes, utilities, and procedures

• Update Senior Consultant, Business Develop Manager(s) and management on project status on
regular or ad hoc basis as required

• Review and approve output of new project to ensure project specifications are being adhered
to

• Review client invoices for accuracy and completeness

 

 

Specialized Knowledge or Skills

• Bachelors degree in business, legal or a related technical field and 2-3 years of consulting
or project management experience, or equivalent, required

• Litigation support and electronic discovery experience a plus

• Excellent oral/written communication skills 

• Excellent customer relations skills
