Duties to be Performed: Responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of all
inventory management activities impacting distributor VMI replenishment processes in order to
achieve inventory and service level objectives. Identify, diagnose, and prioritize
execution problems effecting performance and implement solutions and system enhancements to
achieve continuous performance improvement. Establish measurement systems and goals that
monitor overall departmental processes and objectives. Participate in customer facing
activities and meetings in support of business requirements. Manage and develop inventory
strategies that assist in supporting cross-functional sales and marketing programs while
obtaining positive VMI performance results. Staff, train, and develop an efficient, high
performance organization to meet distributors expectations while achieving Panduit VMI goals
Skills, Training, Experience Required:
Bachelors of Science in Business, Operations Management or related field.
APICS certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge within supply chain disciplines such as Transportation, Distribution,
Forecasting, Inventory Planning, or Customer Service.
Experience involving external business relationships – suppliers, distributors, customers.
Knowledge of Panduit products and business applications systems (Oracle, Pan-Pro, OMS) are
PC Software skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Experience with data management, queries and other data mining tools.
Effective project management, time management, leadership, planning, and delegation skills.
Formal presentation skills for presenting to upper management and external customers
