Job Description:
The Eastridge Group, in partnership with a Fortune 500 telecommunications company, is searching
for a Sr. Business Analyst. 

This company's culture is fast paced, innovative and energizing. The Senior Business Analyst
will participate as a member of the finance team and will represent the financial interests of
the company and will ensure compliance with established controls and procedures. 

This position will focus on the Telephony and High Speed Internet products. 

Responsibilities: 

Consults with internal customers through the combined use of talents, knowledge, and
innovativeness to determine customers needs; provides analysis and resources to assist various
business units in making informed key business decisions. 
Acts as lead for month-end close process for Telephone and Data products and 
Prepares variance analysis to support and explain product performance. 
Liaisons directly with the Marketing dept. and provides financial analysis and assistance in
developing consumer acquisition programs. producing product pricing scenarios, forecasting
consumer demand and churn, planning strategic direction, and determining effectiveness of
campaigns and discount scenarios. 
Maintains strong financial planning and control systems by acting as a lead for the Telephony
and High Speed Internet products during the quarterly forecasts, the annual budget, and the
LRP process. 
Leads and influences change throughout the organization and increases the visibility of the
Finance Department by creating meaningful analysis using discounted cash flow, NPV, and IRR
techniques. 
Develops databases and performs data mining techniques to support data collection, analysis,
and reporting needs. 
Protects and preserves company's assets by ensuring adequate control systems are observed. 
Provides support for accounting issues and questions in the system and to corporate offices. 
Knowledge of telephone regulatory environment; prepares or assist in preparing required forms
and communications. 
Contributes toward effective communications with all internal and external contacts. 
Fosters team focus and synergy with an emphasis on collaboration and team consensus. 




Qualifications: 

BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Finance. CPA/CMA desired. 
5 years Budget, Accounting or Financial Planning and Analysis. 
Experience within the telecommunications industry, understanding of voice and data networks,
and knowledge of telecom services offered by local and long distance carriers. 
Possesses extensive knowledge in Financial Analysis and Consulting. 
Ability to work effectively with team members and Sr. Management. 
Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills. 
Excellent organizational skills. 
Strong financial planning and budgeting background. 
Internal control and audit competency. 
Thorough understanding of G.A.A.P. 
Capacity for strategic thinking and business development. 
Clear, concise writing style that communications ideas and expectations in easy to understand
fashion. 
Ability to orally communicate and comprehend spoken detailed or important information and
instruction. 
Ability to occasionally exert up to 20 lbs force in order to move object.
