Job Description:
Candidate will install, troubleshoot, maintain, test, splice and repair inside / outside copper
and or fiber cabling. Further, candidate will be required to execute telephone / data related
Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC) for inside and outside cable plants at various locations.
Candidate shall use various quality control monitoring equipment and test sets (Fluke 4300,
D4, NET TEST OTDR, TDR and T2209 T1 testers) currently in use in the industry, in
accomplishment of tasking. Candidate must have a thorough working knowledge of analog and
digital circuitry. Candidate will be responsible to respond to trouble calls and assist
customers with MAC requests as well as non-switched data circuits for government customers.
Candidate will be required to use POV transportation in the performance of tasking and must
possess own technical inside / outside cable installation toolkits. Candidate must have
knowledge of CAT 5.
