Boston Scientific has in place a corporate web infrastructure that is currently supporting 17
sites on a global basis plus multiple mini-sites and a sales force extranet. The Internet
Programs Specialist for Enhancements will be responsible for understanding and translating
business needs into effective enhancements for these properties and to ensure that the sites
meet the evolving needs of Boston Scientific.
Assess and support global internet opportunities including enhancements to existing properties
and development of new ones.
Responsible for cost and time estimates, feasibility studies, project plans and
design/implementation of new or modified systems and programs.
Support and maintain a strong relationship with the Accenture Run Team and a core group of
vendors to ensure that we have technologies to satisfy ongoing e-marketing activities.
As an eMarketing team member you will work cross-functionally with corporate groups, including
global systems, legal, regulatory, clinical, corporate communications, customer service,
reimbursement and government affairs.
Function as Corporate eMarketing team member, ensuring compliance with corporate priorities,
governance and branding on a global basis, while meeting business unique needs
Manage the development and communication of documented procedures and processes for
implementation, programming and/or maintenance of Internet Programs
Present and manage the enhancements to the broader Boston Scientific organization
Coordinates efforts to ensure global consistency
Undergraduate degree required
3-5 years experience with eMarketing and or the development and management of web sites
Proficiency in understanding technology and it's application to eMarketing
Excellent written communication, including project plans, process guides and documentation,
and verbal communication, including group presentation skills and training competencies
Ability to build confidence in e-projects and gain consensus throughout organization across
functional and business groups
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced changing environment
Years of Experience Required: At Least 3 Years
Expected Travel Time: About 25%
