cutting edge team.  As an Inside Sales Support Representative based out of Peabody, MA the
successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional service and sales support
for all KROHNE products.  This person must thrive in an interrupt-driven, service-oriented,
fast-paced environment.  In order to be successful, this candidate should manage their own
priorities while taking direction from management as needed and should get satisfaction from
helping customers.  

 

Primary responsibilities include acting as the primary point of customer contact at KROHNE INC
for all customer development related activity in an assigned region. Provide inside sales
functions in close coordination with outside sales representatives including production of
quotes, documents or to follow-up on customer commitments.  The inside sales reps also provide
support services for the independent representative agencies in the territory.  In this highly
visible role you will:

 

o        Sell to assigned customers through application assessment, product presentation and
recommendation, quote generation and periodic contact

o        Ensure effective, professional customer communication via telephone, email and fax

o        Assist independent reps with product selection and pricing 

o        Coordinate customer development efforts closely with outside (direct) sales
representatives

o        Prepare quotes and offers and follow up on all quotes and commitments

o        Coordinate development and deliver KROHNE technical clarification responses and 
technical or commercial order clarification 

o        Ensure timely entry of quotations into ERP/CRM system and accurate sales orders are
delivered to CSRs

o        Provide expediting to obtain delivery commitments. (Pre-Sales activity for
quotations).

o        Manage customer database updates and/or edits and administer required sales documents
and reports.

o        Prepare or coordinate development of project documentation, submittals.

o        Provide technical assistance to KROHNE sales personnel, sales representatives and
customers on the use of online sales tools (Website, Configure IT, etc.)

o        Provide Technical Support on assigned product lines to Inside Sales, Customer Support
personnel,       KROHNE direct sales personnel, and KROHNE sales representatives, on assigned
product lines.

o        Other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

o        Fluency in English;  Spanish speaking skills are a plus

o        Bachelorís degree in engineering or five years of product and/or industry experience.
 Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted

o        Previous inside sales, help desk or customer service experience required.  Experience
in industry preferred

o        Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and ERP/CRM

o        Demonstrated ability in successfully working independently and efficiently in order
to prioritize and address multiple projects simultaneously
