The Account Executive Career Opportunity


As an Account Executive with the Technical Insights Business Unit within Frost & Sullivan, you
will develop and grow a portfolio of client accounts within the Growth Partnership Services
framework. You will identify, develop and present product and service solutions that best meet
our clients’ strategic business needs.  Utilizing effective consultative sales and servicing
strategies, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating new business opportunities
for the development of long-term business partnerships by creating superior value for our
clients.  As a successful Account Executive, you will add to the growth of the Technical
Insights Business Unit, and our company overall, by building value for our solutions and
increasing revenues through renewable business relationships. 


Key job responsibilities:


Effectively penetrate and manage an assigned group of industry accounts to create a strong
client base for our Technical Insights Business Unit within the GPS framework
Leverage business resources to forge new consultative client business relationships, while
maintaining success with existing client relationships
Apply critical thinking, creativity and effective business communication skills to identify
critical client needs and formulate appropriate Frost & Sullivan solutions
Exercise effective consultative sales strategies and closing techniques to successfully
achieve individual sales and performance goals monthly, quarterly, and annually

Key attributes for success:


Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated professional experience in consultative sales, telephone
sales, or business development preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field of study preferred
Industry experience in one or more of the Technical Insights industry groups a plus
Effective time management skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilities
Ability to work effectively in a non-structured and team-oriented environment 
Outstanding written and oral communication skills – able to effectively present ideas and
information in a professional business environment and in all mediums. 
Strong knowledge of PC software programs, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, database
management, and E-mail programs (Lotus Notes preferred)
