Job Description:
Experian, a global leader in providing information solutions to organizations and consumers, is
seeking a highly motivated Senior Marketing Manager to join our team at our Costa Mesa, CA
headquarters. 

 

Summary:

Solutions-oriented marketing professional for Experian-Scorex, the analytics and decisioning
solutions group of Experian Americas.  This individual will work closely with Scorex Product
Managers, Global Marketing, Experian Corporate Marketing, and other internal groups on the
following:

 

Client segmentation and market messaging  analyzing client needs and crafting relevant,
differentiated messages to support these needs 
Creating corporate / capability  presentations and related marketing materials (e.g.
solutions/product sheets, web site content, white papers, direct mail communications, etc.) to
communicate these messages to clients and other external groups
Developing content for solutions guides and other sales aids which will provide sales
executives with the information they need to sell high-value, high margin solutions 
Supporting marketing activities related to new product launches and product enhancements (with
execution by Corporate Marketing)
Coordinating company-sponsored events targeted at users and senior executives
Assisting with the writing and review of internal communications 
Tracking and analyzing industry trends 
 

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in related field, prefer an MBA
7+ years of demonstrated experience with B2B and B2C marketing in multiple disciplines:
product marketing, field marketing, marketing communications and ideally in the financial
services industry 
Knowledge / expertise in the analytics and decision support software markets
Telecommunications industry experience is preferred
Demonstrated ability to drive development of relevant, high calibre sales support and
marketing materials for internal and external use
Familiarity with client event management
Ongoing interaction with product management, sales and sales management, senior management as
well as potentially other departments such as training, technology, finance, legal, etc. 
Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels
Strong organizational and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to research and analyze useful industry information
Outstanding written and communications skills
Outstanding PowerPoint and Word skills. Proficiency in Excel; Knowledge of creative design
applications, such as QuarkXpress, a plus
