We are seeking an advertising sales professional with a successful sales history. Ability to
make qualitative recommendations based on quantitative research is critical.
The position requires a professional who knows how to cultivate relationships within various
organizations and is committed to achieving the company’s revenue objectives.
As a result, the candidate is a strong closer and is able to reach decision makers at all
levels within an organization.
Development and sales of regional BioSpace branding and awareness campaigns.
Focus on selling advertising space on regional maps and online components to
marketing/PR/IR/Corporate Communications/Business Development professionals.
Actively prospect and develop new clients within established and prospective clusters of life
You will be calling on: Biotechnology companies, Pharmaceutical companies, CROs, Lab Service
companies, Lab Suppliers, Diagnostic companies, Medical Device companies, Venture Capitalist
firms, Executive Recruiters, General Law Firms, Patent Law Firms, Media companies,
Consulting/Accounting Firms, Software companies, Ad Agencies, Real Estate/ Developers

Minimum Job Requirements:
- Strong communicator, with strong presentation skills
- Promotes and delivers quality work
- Able to multi-task
- Provides consistent feedback to National Sales Manager
- Proactively accesses new accounts and gets ideas to the top
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Ability to assess the external environment for economic, market and competitive
factors affecting advertising sales goals.
- BS or higher in science or business major
- Proven success in a sales/account executive position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
